| It is hoped that the standard of film
making will improve and that Members will be more interested in
preparing films for competitions. At the end of the season, an
award will be given to the Member whose film is at the top of
the league table. |

The object of the league table is to encourage Members to make
films more readily and in competition with one another, with a
purpose of improving each time they enter a competition. |

Best Film of the Year Competition
This competition is limited to
films which have been shown during the present season. It is
open to all members either as individuals or group units, where
possible / practical an outside judge will be brought in to
adjudicate at this competition.

Fiction / Story
This competition is unlimited (apart from the
content) and open to all members either as individuals or as
group units. Where possible / practical an outside judge will be
brought in to adjudicate at this competition

|
Beginners Competition
This competition
is unlimited and eligibility is open to all members as
individuals who have not had a film placed in the first three in
a league table competition comprising of six or more entries

Ron Reade Trophy
For a local interest
film.

Film Maker of the Year
This award will
be made to the member who has the highest total aggregate marks
for all films entered into the league table competitions.

Local Interest
This competition is open
to all members either as individuals or as group units, but is
limited to films produced about the local people or area of the
club, (or member if that member lives out of the club's direct
area). The film must not contain items that are not from the
area unless there is a direct relevance to the film. Where
possible / practical an outside judge will be brought in to
adjudicate at this competition. Vernon Kirkham Trophy For the
most entertaining film in all competitions.

Miss Willis Trophy
This competition is
open to all members either as individuals or as group units. The
competition is restricted to travel or documentary subjects.
Entries can be submitted in any format. Where possible /
practical an outside judge will be brought in to adjudicate at
this competition.
